There’s A LOT happening right now with the renovation, and it’s pretty amazing to see the changes and progress. Here are a few highlights, starting with a view from backstage looking all the way through to the auditorium. All of the previous barriers have been removed, creating significantly more usable space on the stage, and making stage access much easier. There’s still tons of work to be done, but this is a view we’ve never had before!

Here’s another view of the same thing, taken from even farther backstage. You’re looking through what used to be the production office, and will eventually become a stage access point and piano storage. That stair-stepped unit in the middle is the actual baptismal pool, leftover from the days of this building being the Christian Life Center.

Up in the balcony, the carpet has finally been ripped out (it was glued down a little TOO well, if you ask our crew).

And then finally. . . we’ve also begun framing out the accessibility platforms to create more spaces and better sightlines for people with mobility impairments. Eventually, concrete will be poured into this space.
